We see God opening more and more doors to use Comedy as a springboard into sharing the Gospel with the lost and to encourage the saved to find their true worth in Jesus Christ!
The goal here is simply to go from craziness to the Cross! Using our own insecurities as background material, we show how the love of God can over shadow any hang-ups and hurts that keep us from being who God wants us to be! COMEDY CAN BE USED AS A GREAT OUTREACH INTO YOUR COMMUNITY Are you struggling to get people in your community to listen to the Gospel? Do you wish that you could just get them together in one room so you could share Jesus? Using Humor to draw them in, we will weave life stories, silly anecdotes, and heart wrenching Biblical Truth to carry your congregation from craziness to the cross! This Is How It Works: This can be done by one Church at a time for a laid back night of craziness (which will always end up with us going to the foot of the cross) and have your congregation invite lost family, friends and neighbors. Or it can be done as more of a "community outreach" by a number of Churches prayfully working together: Prayerfully join with other Churches to rent or borrow a meeting place in the community. Advertise it as a night of " Comedy." This will help to attract the "un-churched." Have the members of each Church commit to invite members of the community and bring their lost friends and family to this laid back night of "Comedy." Once the service begins, we will use humor, silliness, and craziness to lighten their minds (and let down their guards) and allow God to loosen their hearts as the subject matter slowly shifts from Comedy to the Cross. Comedy can reach those that may not other wise hear of Jesus, an opportunity to have a personal relationship with the only one that can truly give them joy, forgiveness, and hope in their lives! "Laughing For Jesus?" Actually not laughing FOR Jesus. We would rather think of it as Laughing TO Jesus! Nothing calms fear or soothes despair like a good laugh. Our world is filled with people that are crushed by all this life has to offer. They are looking for relief. We believe God has given my wife & I a unique Ministry to reach these people. This is billed as a night of "Comedy", and it will be, but there is one goal. We Can’t Guarantee That we Will Behave BUT We Can Guarantee That we Will Be: CLEAN, CARING, CHRIST-CENTERED, and CROSS FOCUSED! It's one thing to host Comedy at your Church. It's another thing to trust that the speakers heart is in the right place. To us, our performance at your Church is not a "show",

God has given us all various gifts, and we are to use them as good stewards to reach as many people as we can with the Message of the Bible. We may be using, in a manner of speaking, another language than is understood by some believers, But that in no way invalidates the Message being communicated, as long as it is understood by the "hearers" for which God intended it, It is understood by those who need it most; by those who are spiritually receptive and open to it. Hence Jesus words; "He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches."
Christian comedy, when rightly used as a tool, is as powerful a medium as any other to communicate what the Spirit is saying to the Church. Further, it is a means not only of reaching the lost with the message in a way that is palatable to them, but also of uplifting the heart of the believers already in the Church. As in preaching, the message is balanced between enlightening the lost and exhorting the saved.
Comedy is as legitimate a method of ministering as playing a musical instrument, singing a song, teaching a class, preaching a message, and so on. A church can do without a comedian; it cannot do without a good preacher or other ministries. However, your Church can benefit by a Christian comedian in the same way it can benefit by a special speaker, a talented and dedicated singer or musician, or any number of other form of the ministering arts.
Consider the message of "the whole body is not the eye; if it were, where would be the hearing?" Just so, although there are parts of the body of Christ that may not be as evident or important as some others, they are still needed and beneficial. Imagine a Church that promoted preaching to the total exclusion of music, singing, congregational worship or participation. Or a church that was devoted to only music and singing? Neither would be a well-rounded, effective (or well-even attended) house of worship. Look upon the Christian comedian as the funny-bone of the Church! It has it's place in the body.

Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him..
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
